Bosanska Škola
Safeguarding & Child Protection
The welfare of every child is our highest priority. This statement explains how we keep pupils safe in person and online, and how to raise a concern.

Our commitment
Bosanska Škola is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and adults at risk who take part in our classes. We expect everyone who works or volunteers with us to share this commitment. We follow the principles of UK safeguarding guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education.
Safer recruitment
- All teachers and volunteers who work with children are subject to an enhanced DBS check before they start.
- We take up references and verify identity and qualifications.
- Staff receive safeguarding induction and regular refresher training.
Online safety
- Online lessons are delivered through monitored, password-protected sessions. One-to-one online contact between a single adult and a single child outside a scheduled, supervised lesson is not permitted.
- Pupils log in to the learning portal with a teacher-issued username and class code only. We never ask children for personal contact details.
- Teachers communicate with families through official school channels, never private social media accounts.
- We follow data-minimisation: see our privacy policy for how children's data is handled.
Code of conduct
Everyone connected with the School treats children with respect and dignity. Bullying, discrimination, and any form of abuse are never tolerated. Staff maintain clear professional boundaries at all times.
